LAHAINA TOWN ACTION COMMITTEE INVITES COMMUNITY TO HELP WITH 4TH OF JULY FUNDRAISING
Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii – The LahainaTown Action committee invites the Maui community to take part in the fundraising effort for the 2016 fireworks display celebrating the 4th of July in Lahaina. The fundraising goal is $50,000 for the event and currently the committee is hard at work to raise these funds
“We urge local businesses to support by donating and also decorating their store fronts with flags and buntings. There will also be more activities throughout Front Street this year.” Said Lynn Donovan Executive Director. Deadline for company logos on the official Lahaina poster will be June 10th, 2016.
Fundraising Progress can be tracked on the two goal banners that are located in Lahaina Town at Shaw Street and Lahainaluna Road on Honoapiilani Hwy. The LahainaTown Action Committee increased the length of the Fireworks show from the original 10 minutes to 12 minutes in 2015 and it was a spectacular fireworks show. We look forward to repeating it this year. It will take the community and businesses support to help make that happen.”
Donations for the 4th of July Event can be made by calling the Lahaina Visitor Center at (808) 667-9193 or by mail to 648 Wharf Street, Lahaina, Hi. 96761
